Have you tested with 4.3 to see if it works with the update? I'd be interested, since I might actually buy the connector if it does.
That is a very good idea. I will try to remember to test that.

No idea yet, get onto http://www.osxaudio.com/ and ask there, we're obviously still waiting for a G5, as is everyone else, meantime, contact Digi and ask them.

The official TRIM support is already in Snow Leopard builds for the new Macbook Pros with SSDs and it's in Lion as well. The official support is only for the Apple's SSDs, no TRIM support for third party SSDs. There is a way to enable it for any SSD that supports TRIM, but it is a hack. Here's the thread: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1125400
Apple are usually conservative about their SSDs, they don't go for the top of the line SSDs. So, it is normal to see conservative speed from Apple's SSDs.

Try using passive mode. Issue "pasv" or "passive" in the command-line or find this option in your GUI clients.

Nice reel! I like how the way you linked up different works at a quick yet bearable pace. Keep it up!

You may want to check out this:
http://www.gyration.com/ultragt-compact.htm
Comp USA's have them out for demo, if you have one close to you.
I have the full sized gyration and like the keyboard, plus using the mouse in the air is really cool and does make it very useful for presentations (if you need that...), but also works well as a standard optical 3 button mouse.

Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I liked the puck mouse. I even liked the two-toned ball - now that was attention to detail! Still had to clean the rollers though. :(

HDMI is basically DVI + Audio. VGA can't compare nor can component when it comes to bandwidth.

Hi, I am about to buy am iBook g3 on eBay. The seller sates that the unit powers on but spits the cd tray out and has the dreaded blinking question mark. Can I just use my Panther install disks to reformat it? Or could this be more serious. Also, will my iBook clamshell ac adapter work on this? Thanks!
I would ask the seller to try to make a fresh install on it first before i ever buy that thing :)

Keep your chin up and surround yourself with good friends that you can laugh with. They will help you through this time of crisis.
Hehe, that's funny.

My Uptime - 12 hours :p
Do you pay your electricity bill?
Also that is one sure way to fry your Mac. Power surge can happen at any time.. Do you really trust those $100 surge boards for 24/7 use or do you have UPS.
Also think of how much dust gets in there...
Not smart to leave your computer on 24/7.
Unless you are completely unplugging your computer when it's not in use, just turing it off doesn't really protect it from power surges.

Doubt it. Maybe Apple will have a bigger stock?

I'm interested to see what he's planning to build in it's place.
His crypt, perhaps a pyramid, or something already designed by Bucky Fuller?

I recently saw a pc with OSX running on it. And that's neat. I'm mainly a Windows user but I've remained respectful to Apple hardware but I can't stand OSX. It's stable and it's easy to use but I much rather prefer the unrestricted control a knowledgeable user can have over Windows. Thus leads me to my question;
Has anyone gotten or heard of anyone getting Windows to run on a Mac without an excruciatingly slow emulator? Is there any chance of this happening in the future?

Like you said if you need a portable mac then get the PowerBook 15", if you dont need a laptop then get a G5 iMac but you would need o upgrade RAM in whatever mac you get.

It's not the first. I saw this on the TV show "1000 ways to Die" last week. The rooster stabbed the owner in the neck severing an artery.

Consumer services don't work well as a real CDN. Here are some suggestions:
VPS (http://www.vps.net/?r=rErb) (UK company)
Amazon cloud s3 (http://aws.amazon.com/s3/)
Rackspace (http://www.rackspace.com/cloud/cloud_hosting_products/files/)
